Glenwood Heights Primary Mission:

Learning for all in a caring and sharing community.

Glenwood Heights Primary School

Glenwood is having a great year! Students and staff have been working hard. This is the time of the year a great deal of academic skills are taught and practiced. We had report cards go home in early February. We will have ParentTeacher Conferences by teacher invitation, March 25 and 26 to keep you informed about student progress. Teachers are doing a tremendous job providing engaging lessons and examples that relate to real life. This makes learning relevant for our students. You can support this at home by asking your child what they are learning at school and then connecting learning activities from school to what you do with your child at home. We look forward to this productive and valuable stretch of school as we move into the second half of the school year.

David Kennedy

Principal, Glenwood Heights Primary

Glenwood Heights Primary is the iconic "community school," nestled among berry fields in a semi-rural area of Clark County in the southern end of the Battle Ground School District.  Our wonderful, dedicated staff and incredible students work hand-in-hand with an active Parent Teacher Organization ("PTO") and a large volunteer base to provide for the students.  In addition to the PTO, Glenwood strives to serve our students in a variety of educational programs such as LAP Reading and Math, English as a Second Language (ELL), Skills Centers, Structured Learning Center, Life Skills program and our Highly Capable Program.
