Glenwood Heights’ first graders celebrated Dr. Seuss’ birthday with special guest star readers.
On March 2nd, all first grade students also received hats styled after the one Dr. Seuss’ character The Cat in the Hat wears. Sarah Becker from iQ Credit Union, Angie DeVito from the Kiwanis Club as well as Director of Instructional Leadership for Primary Schools Mike Michaud, Deputy Superintendent Shelly Whitten, and Battle Ground Education Association President Curtis Crebar all read one of their favorite stories to a first grade class. The special reading guest stars also shared with the students what they do and their love of reading.
