Get to know new Glenwood Heights principal Antonio Lopez

Antonio Lopez is the new principal at Glenwood Heights Primary School, taking over for Ken Evans, who retired at the end of the 2017-18 school year.  Before joining GHP, Lopez was an assistant superintendent of school performance for Portland Public Schools.

We asked Antonio to tell us some things that people might not know about him. Check out his answers below and get to know a little more about your new principal!

Do you have children of your own? 
I have a son who is a senior in high school and plays basketball.

Where did you grow up, and where did you go to school?
I grew up in California, and went to Fresno State and National University in San Jose, California.

Do you have any favorite sports teams?
San Francisco 49ers

If you were a character in a Disney movie, which character would you be, and why?
I would be Zorro!

What do you like to do in your free time?
I like to read and work on my cars
