Last week, the Police Activities League visited our third graders to talk about safety and read stories to them.
Trooper Ben Taylor and Sergeant Brandon Kesler from the Washington State Patrol plus Officer Chris Pagaduan and Officer Clint Fraser from the Battle Ground Police Department talked about their role in the community. They also responded to questions from the students and handed out books for the students to take home. Students learned about how they can be safe and how they can help make sure their community is safe. Students also were able to meet Battle Ground Police Department K-9 Charlie who was very excited to meet so many students.
