Wondering what's happening along SR 503/NE 117th Avenue? Construction is starting on a new pedestrian crosswalk to give people a safe way to cross closer to the school. After conducting surveys and considering several possible locations, the Washington State Department of Transportation identified a location just south of the bus stop shelter as the best place for the crosswalk.
During construction, there will be intermittent lane closures. Most of the work will take place outside of school hours, during the evening and early morning. There will be a pedestrian detour on a section of the sidewalk. We look forward to seeing this project get underway!
